Ode to Joy! 9th Symphony Ludwig van Beethoven
The Ninth Symphony in D minor op.125 by Ludwig van Beethoven will be performed in the Lower Engadine in the anniversary year “500 years of the Free State of Graubünden”. The concert performances will take place from 13 to 16 June in the Gurlaina ice rink in Scuol. The large-scale project is being realised together with the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra from San Francisco, conducted by Urs Leonhard Steiner from Graubünden. Numerous musicians and singers from the region are taking part. Many children and young people from Unterengandin and Val Müstair will also be taking part.
