The hotel is located in the quiet mountain village of Ftan near Scuol. Especially early, the village is bathed in sun rays and dew glistens on the mountain meadows.

Hotel and Restaurant Chalamandrin
On November 1, 2022, the Hotel Engiadina in Ftan will be transformed into the Chalamandrin Hotel and Restaurant. With the change of ownership and the reopening, a new chapter in Ftan’s hotel industry will be opened.
Chalamandrin, the Flower
The forget-me-not is one of the most beautiful flowers of the Engadine.
With its light blue petals and yellow eye, it enchants its viewers within seconds.
Its densely populated fields resemble the sky and as beautiful as the flower itself is, so is its corresponding name in Rumantsch: Chalamandrin.
